A horrific incident in Talisay, Batangas, claimed the lives of three family members, including a 2-year-old child, in a brutal attack on Friday night.
The victims, a 35-year-old woman, her elderly mother, and her young child, were found with multiple stab wounds inside their home in Barangay Aya.
Local authorities reported that two victims died at the scene, while the toddler was pronounced dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
Survivor Stories and Arrest
A 6-year-old girl, the daughter of the deceased woman, managed to escape the attack with injuries and sought help from nearby relatives.
Investigators revealed that the attack occurred around 10 p.m. when a 33-year-old man forcibly entered the family’s home.
The suspect was arrested later in Santo Tomas City during a pursuit operation, where evidence linking him to the crime was also recovered.
