In a significant outreach effort, 427 residents of Barangay Nueva Visayas received essential government services during the My Real Serbisyo Caravan, featuring participation from the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

The event, organized by Mayor Myrill Apit, aims to enhance access to public services in remote areas. Davao de Oro Governor Raul Mabanglo and Congressman Jhong Ceniza also supported the initiative.

LTO's Role in Service Provision

Our goal is to bring government services directly to our people, especially those living in far-flung barangays. We are grateful that more agencies continue to partner with us, including the LTO, so that residents can access multiple services in one place without having to travel long distances.

During this caravan, 60 individuals utilized LTO services, reflecting a growing trend as the agency also participated in a previous event on May 21, 2026.

  • 53 residents received medical consultations
  • 48 individuals accessed dental services
  • 93 beneficiaries utilized PhilHealth Yakap assistance
  • 94 residents availed of ASENSO ID services
  • Other services included civil registration and agricultural assistance

The overall participation highlights the necessity of direct access to government services, especially in underserved barangays. Mayor Apit expressed commitment to expanding the caravan's reach.

The My Real Serbisyo Caravan is a key outreach initiative by the Municipal Government of Mawab, designed to ensure that vital services are brought to local communities.

The local administration plans to continue these caravans in various barangays, reinforcing their commitment to responsive governance.
