UnionBank of the Philippines has announced a renewed partnership with Soirée by Retail Lab to bolster local small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The collaboration focuses on enhancing market reach through modern digital payment solutions.
The initiative will feature four bazaar events in Metro Manila throughout 2026, starting with a summer event on May 16 and 17 at The Fifth Rockwell in Makati City.
Following the summer event, a sale will occur in September, culminating in two holiday bazaars at the SMX Convention Center Aura in December.
Empowering Local Merchants
Participating merchants will utilize the UB Negosyante application to manage transactions efficiently. This platform allows business owners to generate QR codes for easy payment collection, streamlining their operations.
UnionBank's digital payment integration aims to remove traditional transaction barriers, empowering vendors to focus on growth.
Financial Products for Entrepreneurs
In addition to digital payment solutions, the bazaars will promote financial products like the Business Line, which offers SMEs access to up to PHP 10 million in funding.
UnionBank will also feature its BizStarter Account, a user-friendly checking account with a minimum initial deposit of PHP 5,000.
We aim to empower Filipino entrepreneurs with the financial tools to build their businesses.
Dino Velasco, Institutional Segment Marketing Head at UnionBank
Visitors who are among the first 100 UnionBank cardholders or online application users will enjoy free entry to the upcoming bazaars.
