Suntoward Tech Philippine Inc., a Taiwanese manufacturer specializing in solar float technology, has officially launched its operations in the Philippines at AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) industrial parks. This strategic move is expected to enhance the local renewable energy landscape.

New Facilities to Boost Renewable Energy Manufacturing

We are excited to establish our first operations in the Philippines through ALLHC’s facilities. This investment allows us to bring our manufacturing capabilities closer to key renewable energy projects in the region.

Jack Wang, President, Suntoward Tech

Suntoward has secured over 3,800 square meters at ALogis Mabalacat 1 in Pampanga, with plans for future growth through an 8,200-square-meter lot at Batangas Technopark. The company will focus on producing high-density polyethylene floats and components for floating solar photovoltaic systems.

  • Initial operations to commence in the first quarter of 2027.
  • Facilities located near major transport routes and Clark International Airport.

The Pampanga location offers advantageous access via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), while Batangas Technopark is conveniently linked to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). This accessibility is vital for supporting Suntoward's operational efficiency.

This investment aligns with the Philippines' emphasis on renewable energy, reflecting a growing interest in sustainable development. The entry of Suntoward is anticipated to generate significant employment opportunities and stimulate local economic activity.

ALLHC's Chief Operating Officer, Patrick Avila, noted, "By providing industrial facilities in strategic regional locations, we aim to support businesses as they establish operations, expand capacity, and serve their markets." This partnership not only benefits Suntoward but also fortifies the Philippines' position in the renewable energy sector.
