Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Rogelio Quevedo announced that three cryptocurrency platforms must pay penalties totaling around 20 million pesos before they can gain entry into the SEC's regulatory sandbox, known as "StratBox."
During Philippine Blockchain Week, Quevedo cautioned digital asset companies against launching services without the necessary regulatory approvals, warning that violators will face significant financial repercussions.
