Power interruptions are set to affect several areas in Metro Manila, Cavite, and Rizal this week. The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced that these outages are necessary for ongoing maintenance and facility upgrades.
Scheduled Outages by Area
- Parañaque City: Baclaran will experience outages on August 3 from 12:01 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Pasay City: SM Central Business Park will have brief outages on August 3 from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. and on August 4 from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Muntinlupa City: Brgy. Tunasan will have power cuts on August 5 between 10:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
- Quezon City: Brgy. Culiat will face outages on August 7-8 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- Cavite: Pearl Residences Subdivision in Tanza will experience power cuts on August 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Cavite: Retirees Village II in Brgy. Mulawin will have outages on August 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Silang, Cavite: Eurotiles Corp. along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway will have no power on August 5 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Rizal: Brgy. Santo Domingo in Cainta will face outages on August 5-6 from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
These interruptions are part of Meralco's ongoing efforts to enhance the reliability of the power supply in the region. The company encourages residents to prepare for the outages and suggests taking necessary precautions.
