The Central Luzon Media Association (CLMA) Pampanga Chapter welcomed its newly elected officers during a ceremony held on September 15 at the Media Center in Clark Freeport.

Jhoedie Mercado from CLTV36 was inaugurated as president, with Paulo G. Santos, also from CLTV36, serving as executive vice president.

Other key positions include:

  • Jenna Parungao (Balitang-Balita) - Vice President for Broadcast
  • Larrica Angela Cunanan-Dinio (iOrbit News) - Vice President for Online
  • Princess Clea Arcellaz (SunStar Pampanga) - Vice President for Print
  • Gerald Gloton (Punto Central Luzon) - Secretary
  • Chris Espino (Newsline Central Luzon) - Treasurer
  • Glendy Sembrano (GNN TV44) - Auditor

The association's board of directors includes Joe Asuncion, Nelson Gonzales, Jen Salenga, Joe Salazar, and Joann Manabat.

The pen has been passed to the new generation. We are rich in tradition. We know and we have imbibed what it is to be a journalist and what it is to be a practicing journalist. Let us go on with this.

The oath was administered by Reynaldo Malig, a CLMA member and chairman of Barangay Salapungan in Angeles City. Lacson urged the new leadership to maintain the integrity and foundational values of journalism as the media landscape continues to evolve.
