Investment Details and Benefits

The RTB 32 offering is available from September 29 to October 7, 2026, unless the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) terminates it early. This bond has a 2.5-year maturity, set to issue on October 12, 2026, and mature on April 12, 2029.

The indicative annual coupon rate is between 6.750 percent and 6.875 percent, determined through an auction.

Investors can anticipate quarterly interest payments, with potential earnings of approximately P67.50 to P68.75 per quarter, subject to withholding tax. The final interest rate will be established by the BTr.

How to Invest Through GCash

To invest, users must be at least 18 years old and a Fully Verified GCash user. They can navigate to GInvest > GBonds in the GCash app, complete the registration, and fund their GBonds wallet.

After selecting RTB 32, users can review and confirm their order. Note that orders are subject to approval by the BTr.

A Significant Milestone for Retail Bonds

The introduction of RTB 32 coincides with the 25th anniversary of the government's retail bond program, which aims to mobilize funds for various public priorities.

This program reflects an ongoing effort to enhance financial literacy and investment options for ordinary Filipinos, further integrating digital tools in personal finance.
