Emirates has announced that it has restored 96% of its global flight network, significantly improving travel options just two months after the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East.
The UAE's national airline stated this restoration translates to operating at 75% of its pre-conflict capacity, with over 1,300 weekly flights to 137 destinations across 72 countries.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Emirates managed to carry 4.7 million passengers from March 1 to April 30.
The airline emphasized its commitment to providing enhanced flight availability, asserting Dubai's role as a key global travel hub.
Emirates' Philippine Operations
Emirates currently operates 32 flights weekly to the Philippines, servicing Manila, Cebu, and Clark. However, the airline has not confirmed whether these routes have returned to their full capacity.
During the peak of the conflict, Emirates canceled 24 flights between February 28 and March 5 due to regional airspace disruptions, second only to Philippine Airlines, which suspended 29 flights.
The recent developments in the Middle East include a fragile ceasefire agreement involving Iran, the U.S., and Israel, as diplomatic efforts to end the conflict gather momentum.
The airline is offering more flights, more seats and more options each day while reaffirming Dubai’s position as a vital hub through which global travel moves.
