The Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) is set to achieve a remarkable $3.8 billion in electronics exports by 2025, according to the Clark Development Corporation (CDC). This figure underscores the area's growing significance in the semiconductor industry.
Semiconductors Dominate Exports
In 2025, semiconductors are projected to account for $2.86 billion of the total exports, representing 75.01% of CFZ's export volume. The main markets for these exports include the United States, Hong Kong, Ireland, the Netherlands, and China.
Local Initiatives to Support Growth
As part of its commitment to enhance the business environment, the CDC is addressing operational challenges faced by companies within the freeport. A consultation meeting held on July 7 outlined plans to streamline processes and strengthen local services.
