HONOR is poised to unveil its latest flagship, the Magic9 Pro Max, on September 28. The smartphone made headlines at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, where its distinctive camera design was first revealed.
The Magic9 Pro Max's camera layout is inspired by the ARRIFLEX cinema camera, featuring a three-lens turret design. This collaboration with ARRI promises to integrate professional image science into a smartphone format.
The teaser images highlight impressive camera specs, including a 1/1.28-inch 200-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.57 aperture and a similar 200-megapixel telephoto sensor with an f/2.6 aperture. Additionally, it will come with a teleconverter kit for enhanced zoom capabilities.
Among the standout features is an 8800mAh battery, potentially the largest for a flagship device, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharging.
The integration of ARRI's professional camera technology into smartphones could redefine mobile photography standards.
