Johnro Electrical and Avantrac maintained their unbeaten records in the AEBA 9th Corporate Cup after both teams secured their third consecutive wins this weekend.
The matches took place at the University of San Carlos Downtown Campus Gymnasium, showcasing intense competition as the tournament progresses.
Johnro Electrical, made up of members from the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEEP), defeated Fenestram Fabricators with a score of 76-61.
Roy Rendon led Johnro with 18 points, supported by John Cubar’s 11 points. Fenestram's Christopher Gayotin scored a game-high 28 points but could not secure the win.
Avantrac's Victory
Avantrac, consisting of members from the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), also maintained their perfect record by beating Sinclair from the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) 87-65.
Jemcerson Sable led Avantrac with 24 points, alongside contributions from Noriko Benedicto, Rec Andro Zaragoza, and Anton Bennett Chua, who added 13, 12, and 11 points, respectively.
For Sinclair, Justin Aspacio and Angelo Taduyan scored 17 and 16 points, bringing their record to 2-1.
Other Match Highlights
In additional games, EGS Surveying secured their first win of the tournament by defeating RELLM Engineering 71-61.
Sports & Play also celebrated their initial victory by overpowering Davies Paints 99-71, while CBM Engineering improved to a 2-1 record after defeating Dextructures 94-69.
