The impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte are gaining momentum as the prosecution has disclosed a formal offer of substantial evidence. This includes her Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALNs) from 2007 to 2025, which allegedly highlight undeclared assets and breaches of constitutional mandates.
Key Evidence Presented
The prosecution's evidence suggests a pattern of financial misconduct. It claims Duterte's SALNs do not align with her actual bank balances, which reportedly total over P207.6 million from 2022 to 2025.
The forensic report found that Duterte and her husband have unexplained wealth of at least P817.8 million from 2022 to 2025.

In addition to the SALNs, evidence includes corporate documentation from the Securities and Exchange Commission, indicating ties to companies allegedly owned or operated by her and her husband, Mans Carpio. Notably, Gencorp, linked to Duterte, secured 19 contracts worth over P34 million with the Davao City local government during her tenure as vice president.
The implications of these revelations extend beyond the courtroom. If proven, these findings could significantly impact Duterte's political career and the public's perception of accountability within the government.
