'It’s Showtime' has officially denied rumors that it will take over the noontime slot currently occupied by 'ASAP (All-Star Sunday Afternoon Party).'
The popular variety show, hosted by Vice Ganda, clarified on its social media channels that it would keep its regular airing schedule.
In a post from May 2, the show stated, "'It’s Showtime,' Mondays to Saturdays | 12NN. Sundays | Pahinga po kami."
This announcement comes after ABS-CBN confirmed that 'ASAP' will be rebranded as 'ASAP XP' and will shift to a 5:30 p.m. time slot starting May 17.
As of now, ABS-CBN has not disclosed which program will fill the vacant noontime slot.
'We want to set the record straight. 'It’s Showtime' will not be taking over the noontime slot,' the show's social media stated.
