The Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation show showcased a striking stage design that captivated attendees at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Designer Ronald King of King Design Studio crafted the impressive structure, which has been praised as one of the best stage designs in the pageant's history.

King's previous work includes notable events like Miss Ilocos Sur 2026 and the Binibining Pilipinas Grand Coronation Night.

Dubbed "Lunduyan," the stage featured a blueprint rendition of the National Museum of Fine Arts, enhanced by strategically placed LED panels.

The design deviated from conventional styles, offering a long runway that added an innovative flair to the event.

A Tribute to Cultural Heritage

King explained that "Lunduyan" pays homage to the Philippine National Museum, a symbol of culture and artistic excellence.

He described the museum as both a guardian of heritage and a witness to the evolution of Filipino identity.

"As the home and repository of masterpieces by the country’s most celebrated Filipino artists, it stands as a beacon for new generations of creatives," said King.

The LED displays on the stage were inspired by works from renowned Filipino artists, further enhancing the cultural theme.

King emphasized the importance of storytelling in art, stating that the stage transforms the pageant into a living repository of national heritage.

He noted that the design incorporates iconic neoclassical elements from the National Museum, creating a visually stunning backdrop for the contestants.

The Miss Universe Philippines pageant aims to find the country's representative for the international competition, with Bea Millan-Windorski crowned this year.
