The exhibition runs for 51 days, transforming JAKC into a CHIIKAWA-themed wonderland. Visitors can explore multiple experience zones, showcasing Shanghai-exclusive exhibits inspired by the city's rich food culture.
The central ticketed zone, "CHIIKAWA's Everyday Life," immerses guests in nine themed rooms, featuring over 100 3D sculptures that recreate iconic scenes from the beloved manga series.
Among the highlights is the new "CHIIKAWA Longtang Eats" zone, showcasing traditional Shanghai delicacies reimagined through the lens of CHIIKAWA characters. This area celebrates local flavors, including crab roe soup dumplings and pork mooncakes.
Additionally, a striking nine-meter-tall inflatable sculpture featuring Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi greets visitors at the busy intersection of Nanjing West Road and Changde Road, further enhancing the exhibition's appeal.
JAKC's collaboration with AllRightsReserved reflects a shift in experiential retail. By blending culture and commerce, the exhibition aims to drive urban foot traffic and stimulate local businesses.
This initiative aligns with Shanghai's vision to become a global tourism hub, integrating cultural experiences and consumer engagement across the Jing'an District.
As the exhibition continues, guests can enjoy a range of limited-edition food items and themed merchandise, creating memorable experiences that resonate with both local residents and tourists.
