Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union emerged victorious as Miss Universe Philippines 2026 on Saturday night. She triumphed over 50 other candidates at the coronation held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
During the final question-and-answer segment, the Top 7 finalists were asked about the importance of representing the Philippines globally.
Millan-Windorski shared her deep connection to the Philippines, emphasizing her pride in her heritage. She stated, 'I chose to pack my life into balikbayan boxes because I believe in the limitless potential of the Filipino people.'
She pledged to serve the public if crowned, highlighting the need for local opportunities to help families thrive without leaving the country.
The outgoing titleholder, Ahtisa Manalo, crowned Millan-Windorski at the conclusion of the event.
Millan-Windorski will represent the Philippines at the 75th Miss Universe pageant in November, set to take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Top 7 finalists included Jenrose Javier, Apriel Smith, Marian Arellano, Ysabella Roxas Ysmael, Nicole Borromeo, and Allyson Arceo Hetland.
She aims to secure the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe title, following previous wins by Gloria Diaz, Margarita Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray.
The pageant celebrated its seventh edition, hosted by drag performer Marina Summers and featured a performance from the boy band BGYO.
