Oracle NetSuite unveiled new AI-driven tools at the SuiteConnect Manila event held on April 28. These innovations aim to help Philippine firms tackle operational bottlenecks as they expand.
James Chisham, Oracle NetSuite's vice president for product management, emphasized the importance of integrating AI into business processes for long-term growth. He highlighted the introduction of NetSuite Next, which incorporates conversational intelligence and natural language search.
NetSuite Next allows users to interact with enterprise data in plain language, turning traditional ERP systems into more intuitive decision-making environments.
Enhanced Flexibility with AI Connector Service
The event also showcased the AI Connector Service, enabling organizations to customize AI models and manage data access securely. This service is built on open standards, enhancing integration with external AI tools.
Other new capabilities include better understanding of NetSuite data, standardized AI use across teams, and enhanced analytics for risk management.
Industry Leaders Discuss Operational Challenges
During a panel discussion, leaders from various sectors, including healthcare and real estate, shared how legacy systems have become insufficient for managing operational complexities. They expressed excitement about adopting Oracle's unified cloud platform.
“As our business has expanded several-fold, NetSuite has continued to scale with us to support increasing operational complexity,” said Aaron Jeffrey Montenegro, CEO of JDN Realty Group.

Montenegro's firm, which manages over 65,000 square meters of leasable space, highlighted improvements in financial reporting speed and accuracy since implementing NetSuite.
Similarly, Rizalito Oades from Unilogix GOC noted the need for tighter integration across complex supply chains.

Amit Suxena, group vice president at Oracle NetSuite, stressed the importance of real-time visibility in the real estate sector. He indicated that NetSuite's unified platform supports sustainable growth.
NetSuite Next is set to roll out across the ASEAN region within the next year, enhancing the capabilities of businesses aiming to leverage AI for operational efficiency.
