Digital financial services platform Maya has teamed up with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) to integrate cashless payment methods for their services. This collaboration will enable non-resident Filipinos and their families to conveniently make payments using credit cards, debit cards, QR codes, and digital wallets.

Advancing Digital Service Delivery

This agreement marks a significant step toward the CFO's goal of enhancing its digital service offerings. By allowing cashless transactions, the agency aims to transform how it processes fees for various programs.

We are excited to provide tools that support the financial health of overseas Filipinos, linking them to vital digital services.

  • Focus on improving ease of doing business for overseas users

CFO Secretary Dante “Klink” Ang II highlighted that the agency caters to over six million non-resident Filipinos worldwide. This partnership aligns with the government's ongoing efforts to digitize services and improve transaction efficiency.

Maya's initiative reflects a broader trend in the Philippines, where other financial institutions like Coins.ph and Bybit have also established digital payment channels targeting overseas Filipino communities.

In addition to the current payment options, Maya has previously rolled out user incentives for overseas clients, including rebates on ATM withdrawals and cashback on mobile load top-ups. The CFO plans to explore further opportunities to deepen its connections with non-resident Filipinos.
