Compose Coffee, a popular South Korean brand closely associated with BTS' V, has made its debut in the Philippines with a new store located at Market! Market! in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

A Growing Trend in Coffee Culture

Opening its first Philippine outlet marks a significant step for Compose Coffee, which is now the third international location for the brand since its establishment in Busan in 2014. This expansion follows its recent launch in Taiwan.

We really wanted to bring it to the Philippines. Today marks the day that we finally opened the store and be able to provide Filipinos with access to Compose Coffee.

Allan Tan, Business Development Head
  • Strong interest in Korean culture among Filipinos
  • BTS' V's influence as a global brand ambassador

The local launch has already attracted considerable attention, particularly from the BTS ARMY, who are excited about the connection to their idol. Tan expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans upon the announcement.

Quality Coffee with a Korean Twist

Compose Coffee emphasizes quality and accessibility. The brand is part of the Jollibee Group's strategy to enhance its coffee and tea offerings in the region. Tan stated that establishing a solid customer experience is currently more critical than expanding the number of branches.

The coffee chain prides itself on using beans sourced from its own roasting facility in South Korea, ensuring a unique taste for its signature drinks.

Exciting Menu Offerings

The menu features popular Korean drinks alongside Philippine-exclusive items such as the Orange Americano and Salty Cream Latte. Tan highlighted the Orange Americano as particularly refreshing, perfect for morning routines.

Prices for beverages are competitive, with the Iced Americano priced at P90 and the Dalgona Latte at P170. All drinks are served in a generous 20-ounce size.

In addition to coffee, the menu includes unique non-coffee options, such as a yuzu-citrus drink inspired by V's collaboration and a chocolate ganache beverage.

Aiming for Daily Delight

Compose Coffee Philippines Marketing Manager Nicole Tan emphasized the goal of making quality coffee an integral part of daily life for consumers. The brand aims to offer consistently delicious coffee at accessible prices.

With the opening of its first branch in the Philippines, Compose Coffee is set to cater to the busy lifestyles of Filipino consumers, blending the rich culture of coffee with the global phenomenon of K-pop.
